Join us on Wednesday, August 28th at Lucius Q (1131 Broadway, Cincinnati) in their private event space, The Metz, for an afternoon of connection and opportunity!
We’ll begin with an optional information session at 4:00 PM to learn about the Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®) designation and the 2025 CEPC Council Nomination opportunity. Afterward, enjoy our networking mixer from 4:30–6:30 PM with fellow members and professionals.
What is the AEP®?
The Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®) is a graduate-level, multi-disciplinary credential awarded by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC) to experienced professionals who embrace a collaborative, team-based approach to estate planning.
CEPC can nominate up to 12 members in 2025—and those nominated by the Council may waive the two required graduate-level courses.
To be eligible, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Credentials: JD, CPA, CFP®, CLU®, CFA, CTFA, CAP®, or similar
- Experience: 10+ years of significant estate planning work, with at least 1/3 of time dedicated to the field
- Continuing Education: 30 hours in the past 24 months (15 in estate planning topics)
- Ethics & Mission: Commitment to the NAEPC Code of Ethics and team-based planning
Whether you're ready to apply or just curious, this session is a great chance to explore the opportunity.
