Join us Tuesday, March 11th for an insightful panel discussion on Business Succession Planning, featuring a team of multidisciplinary experts. This engaging session will address the critical elements that make family business transitions successful, with a focus on legal, financial, and valuation perspectives. Attendees will leave this session with a more fluent understanding of how the other advisors around the table approach a family business transition.

Our panel includes:

  • Julie Tarvin, an experienced estate attorney with Taft Law Firm, who will offer guidance on legal structures and strategies to ensure a smooth transition of ownership.
  • Jason Katz, CPA, CFP®, a seasoned financial planner with Bartlett Wealth Management, will provide valuable insights into the financial aspects of succession.
  • Bryan Setz, CPA, CVA, CFE, an expert in business valuation, will explore how to determine business value and the role it plays in the succession planning process.

Moderating the discussion will be Carol Butler, President of the University of Cincinnati’s Goering Center for Family and Private Business, North America’s largest university based educational center serving more than 400 closely held businesses. In addition to Carol’s extensive experience in helping family-owned businesses navigate these complex issues. She also brings a unique perspective as a former Fortune 500 Executive with 30 years of experience successfully leading profitable, global businesses.

Whether the families you serve are planning for retirement, managing a family business, or preparing the next generation of leadership, this panel will share thoughts and experiences that resonate.

We hope to see you there!
