"Chip" Gerhardt, III\n \nPresident & Founder\n \nGovernment Strategies Group, LLC\n \n \n \nChip has an extensive background in the fields of government affairs, economic development, and issues advocacy. He has worked in these areas both in the private and public sectors, and on local, state and federal levels.  \n \n \n \nChip has been active in politics for many years on the local, state and federal levels. He is the former Vice Chairman of the Hamilton County Republican Party and a veteran of numerous campaigns. He was instrumental in the success of Issue 4, which brought the strong mayor form of government back to Cincinnati and was involved in SW Ohio efforts supporting Issue 3 – the state ballot issue that approved four casinos in Ohio. Most recently, Chip was involved in several statewide campaigns including Mike DeWine for Governor, Dave Yost for Attorney General, Frank LaRose for Secretary of State, Robert Sprague for Treasurer and Keith Faber for Auditor. He has also supported fundraising efforts for members of Congress from Greater Cincinnati as well as other members of Ohio’s legislative delegation.   \n \n \n \nActive on many boards, Chip serves on the Hamilton County Board of Elections, the Ensemble Theatre Board, Arts Wave, Findlay Market Corporation, and is former chair of the board for the National Down Syndrome Society. Chip has served on the boards of the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanic Garden, the Cincinnati Museum Center, the Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority, and the Clermont Chamber of Commerce. He was named in Cincy Magazine’s “Power 100” in every year since 2012 and Cincinnati Magazine’s 300 most powerful regional leaders since 2021.  \n \n \n \nPrior to forming GSG, Chip was Vice President of KMK Consulting Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Keating, Muething and Klekamp, a major Cincinnati law firm.
