About the Speakers
Marilyn J. Maag

Marilyn facilitates the decision-making processes of individuals and families who are working on estate planning, trust and probate law issues.
 
Her practice includes estate and charitable planning, elder law, probate litigation/problem resolution, succession planning for family business owners, planning for family members with special needs, and estate/trust administration.
 
She is an Ohio State Bar Association Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law. Marilyn has lectured in Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio on estate planning, trust and probate law topics.
 
Barbara Rose, MPH, RN

Barbara Rose is the SeniorProject Administratorfor Community ProgramsatHospice of Cincinnati since 2012. She has successfully pursued and retained two multi- million dollar grants for 1) Conversations of a Lifetime, a multi -faceted community project to improve advance care planning in the area's health systems and community and 2) PalliaCare Cincinnati , a home based palliative care service with NPs , nurses and a social worker providing supportive care in the home to patients with life limiting illness.
 
Prior to her work in advance care planning and better end of life care, Barbara was the Program Director for the Ohio Perinatal Quality Collaborative (OPQC) , a successful statewide perinatal improvement collaborative impacting Ohio's 140,000 annual births.
 
She has a master's degree in public health from St. Louis University and 40 years of experience in the fields of nursing, public health, physician practice, program management and community based health improvement. Barbara lives in Mariemont, Ohio with her dog Gibbs and is the proud mom of successfully launched 28 year old triplets and Nana to five year old Christopher.
